BIOGRAPHY

Jesús Herrera, born in 1974 in Coria del Río, Seville (Spain), graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Seville. He embarked on his professional career by establishing his own firm, Jesus Herrera Arquitectos, in his hometown the following year. After several years of work between Seville and Cadiz, he relocated to San Roque, where in the year 2000 he began his journey in Sotogrande, collaborating on numerous projects with various architects, from conception to completion.

His expertise extends to the ability to work on complex plots, where his architectural prowess is demonstrated in his capacity to innovate solutions to spatial and structural challenges. J.Herrera is distinguished by his modernist and contemporary approach to architectural principles, involving substantial changes in form, materials, and spatial utilization.

His portfolio encompasses a wide range of projects, from private constructions and new buildings to renovations: private residences, collective buildings, as well as urban interventions ranging from planning to executing renovations in public facilities such as sports, social, and recreational centers.

With the inauguration of his new studio in 2021, he benefits from the support of a highly committed and active team. He is noted for his meticulous attention to the needs and expectations of clients, as well as his commitment, loyalty, and dedication to realizing the dreams and desires of those who seek his services.

"In each project, I aim to establish an intellectual relationship between the design and the location, so that in the final result, the connections with its fundamental elements (situation, orientation, views, light, air, etc.) can be understood, all while integrating the program requested from the commission." J.Herrera
